Summer in Gotham City!

Happy Summer! I hope you’re all having a great time. I’ve been in New York City since May and it’s been a blast. I got to meet some GREAT people at BEA, ALA, and ABA. I hope I didn’t infect any of them with the cold I picked up at BEA that is only just now going away.

Fortunately, I brought Allie Cat along and she has been a source of great comfort even though she clearly wants to go back to Florida where it is 100+ degrees, the preferred temperature for old cats.

I’m here for a few more weeks and if you happen to be in town, here are some places we might be able to meet up (I promise my cold is gone):

Tuesday, July 9

Union Square Barnes and Noble

Kami Garcia, Gabriel Picolo, and Meg Cabot in conversation with Danielle Paige to celebrate the release of Kami’s and Gabriiel’s new graphic novel Teen Titans: Raven! Priority access with book purchase.

This event is open to the public!

If you haven’t read Raven yet, you should. Or maybe there’s a younger reader in your life who’s going off to camp and would appreciate a graphic novel in his/her care package. Raven would be perfect!

I don’t know what I’m going to be signing at the B&N event since Black Canary Ignite doesn’t come out until the end of October, but I’m told there’s going to be a Black Canary-related item there (of course you’re welcome to purchase any of my other books that the store might have in stock, or bring a favorite book of mine from home for me to sign).

Speaking of Black Canary-related items, have you seen THIS???

Cara McGee, the artist for Black Canary Ignite, is SO SO talented!!!! I’m beyond excited that I get to work with her, and watch her bring Dinah and her friends and family to life!!!

Meanwhile, the Romance Writers of America organization has its annual conference in NYC this year, so I’m going! I’m psyched that I get to go support author friends like Nisha Sharma and Ally Carter, both of whom are up for a RITA Award for best YA Romance, as well as attend events where you could stop by and see me (and maybe get some FREE books by me), whether you’re attending RWA or not:

Thursday, July 25:

Avon Publisher Signing @ Romance Writers of America National Conference

Marriott Marquis Times Square

Westside Ballroom

FREE BOOKS while they last

*Sorry, this event only open to registered RWA conference attendees!*

Friday, July 26

KissCon Afternoon Delight

This event is open to the public but requires the purchase of a ticket (the ticket price includes a book and more!)

Saturday, July 27

Romance Writers of America National

2019 Literacy Autographing
3:00 – 5:00 p.m. ET
New York Marriott Marquis

This is event is free and open to the public! All books at this signing are donated by the publishers in order to raise money for literacy, so authors can only sign books purchased at the event and not brought from home. Sorry! 🙁

My publishers are busy putting together my touring schedules for No Judgments and Black Canary Ignite, so if you can’t make it to NYC this month, it’s possible I’ll be headed to a town near you this Fall! As soon as all my events are confirmed, I’ll post them on my Tour page.

In the meantime, I hope you have a fun and safe summer, with LOTS of reading and sunshine (with SPF 100 of course).

More later.

Much love,
