I like to keep things tidy, so today is a blog housekeeping day. The following things are on the tidy-up agenda:
Did you see it yet? Well, you should.
And, okay, it is not exactly the way I wrote the original screenplay (there are some minor differences).
But a lot of it is still the same. The Zamboni-driving boy, for instance.
Go here to learn more about ICE PRINCESS.
A lot of you seem very suspicious about my relationship with Paris H. I'm sure if you scroll down through my last couple blog entries, until you get to the one called CEER, and read it very carefully, it will all be cleared up for you.
Some of you seem to want autographed photos of me. I am sorry to tell you that I do not have any 8 by 10—or any size at all, actually–photos of myself. If you send a self-addressed stamped envelope to me at 532 La Guardia Place, #359, New York, NY 10012, I will be more than happy to send you a signed bookplate, a lovely newsletter about my upcoming books, and some postcards. But I have no photos of myself to send you, nor will I ever have photos of myself to send to you.
For those of you who live in Maryland and asked about this, I am sorry, but I cannot tell you exactly where my mother lives. She is a private person who, like me, does not like drop-bys. Not that any of you would ever do that, I know.
For everyone who asked, yes, Henrietta did miss me while I was in Maryland, and has since shown me how much she missed me by butting her head against my hands at 3 in the morning, trying to get me to wake up and pet her, since apparently it is not enough that I pet her nonstop during waking hours.
Yes, I have seen copies of Princess in Training as well as the paperback of Princess in Pink, and yes, they are lovely, and yes, they will be out in stores in the US and Canada on March 29, in some places even earlier. If you find them in stores before March 29, I don't care if you buy them. I know some authors get upset when readers buy their books before the on sale date, just like some authors have 8×10 photos of themselves to send to their readers. I am not one of those authors. Please know that I am grateful to anyone who buys any of my books on any day at all.
For those of you asking, yes, Princess Diaries 7 is done, and yes, in the US it will be called Party Princess and will be out in March 2006. In the UK it will be called Seventh Heaven and will be out at the same time as in the US.
And for the other people who want to know why there has never been a Princess Diaries installment that took place over Valentine's Day, we will have a special Valentine's Day book as well, but I don't know when it will come out because I haven't written it yet.
That is all I have to report at this current time except that there will be more updates coming soon, and possibly a review of the made-for-TV movie “Spring Break Shark Attack” if I can summon the energy.
