It’s Black Friday, the day when everyone in America is supposed to go out and shop, or, as I like to call it, the-day-I’m-supposed-to-go-back-to-working-on-my-book, but-I’m-still-too-stuffed-with-pumpkin-pie, so-instead-I-do-all-the-things-I’ve-been-been-putting-off-forever, such as cleaning out Henrietta’s ears.
This would explain why she’s currently hiding from me behind the toilet. Too late though, I already got both ears. Score!
Positive reviews are pouring in from those of you who’ve managed to get your hands on Big Boned, which I really appreciate, especially considering I still haven’t seen a published copy. That’s right, my author copies haven’t arrive yet! Those of you who have seen them…are they pretty? Do they feel nice? I want one. And thanks to those of you who’ve said such nice things, I really appreciate it!
I guess I could go out to the store to buy my own copy, but I’m afraid of the shopping hordes. I saw the lines on CNN and decided to just stay home and look up home remedies for my neck online. Which is how I found out that they’ve added new episodes to the Jeannie Tate show!
Since there’s nothing good on TV, I definitely recommend you catch up with Jeannie, a stay-at-home mom who has her own hilarious talkshow from her mini van, featuring her snarly teenage stepdaughter and various real life guest stars whose publicists mistakenly book them for her show. Check it out:
